Advertising MPOs and Associated Fees

The Moscone Center applies a city commission of $500 dollars per impression, per advertiser, per location for any sold advertisement or sponsored graphics/displays inside the facility, aside from event branding. Digital signage on all permanent signs within the facility is also commissionable based on the rate schedule below.

Event branding is defined as:

  • Signage and décor with event name, event logo, or event-specific design elements.
  • Sponsor recognition (sponsor level, company name and/or logo)
  • Informational show management signage pertaining to the event:
    • Directional Information
    • Event Schedule
    • Transportation Schedule

Any graphic, signage, décor, or digital slide that includes information or logos other than those listed above is considered advertising and is subject to the city commission. Advertising may not be visible from the outside of the facility, nor may it be applied to the exterior of the facility. The following are considered advertising and subject to the advertising fee:

  • Any static or electronic display in lobbies, corridors, or other common areas within The Moscone Center, promoting an exhibitor, event sponsor, or other advertiser, with or without an associated booth number.
  • Displays inside exhibit halls or in sponsored session rooms are excluded from this fee.

Advertising sponsorships are only permitted in The Moscone Center on the condition that the Licensee submits a floor plan identifying all advertising locations and obtains Operator approval  in advance. 

 

Digital Advertising Commission Fees

Commissions are charged per advertiser per advertisement (regardless of how many times per day that particular advertisement is shown).

  • South Lobby West LED Screen (#20) - $500 per advertiser per advertisement
  • South Lobby East LED Screen (#19) - $500 per advertiser per advertisement
  • North Lobby LED Screen (#15) - $500 per advertiser per advertisement
  • North Concourse (#17) - $500 per advertiser per advertisement
  • North Hall F (#16) - $500 per advertiser per advertisement
  • West Level 1 Lobby (#18) - $500 per advertiser per advertisement
  • South Lobby Meeting Room Screens (#1, 2, 3, &4) - $500 per advertiser  per advertisement for all screens combined
  • Upper Mezzanine (#5) - $500 per advertiser per advertisement
  • South Level 2 (#6, 7, 8, &9) - $500 per advertiser per advertisement for all screens combined
  • South Level 3 (#10, 11, 12, 13) - $500 per advertiser per advertisement for all screens combined

Additional labor charges may apply to any changes made on-site regardless of whether advertising commission is applicable.
